Book of Nursery and Mother Goose Rhymes

Book itself is in wonderful condition. A name is written very neatly on front board, almost unnoticeable. No markings, torn or bent pages, only the slightest hint of browning to the edges of the pages. Unsure of printing: the year "1954" appears on the title page, and the copyright page reads "Copyright, 1953, 1954". Dust jacket has some problems -- price-clipped, was torn in a diagonal across the front panel and repaired on the back side with a christmas-patterend scotch tape, I would guess sometime in the late 1950's, based on the tape itself. Other, more recent tears, one 1 1/2" closed tear at bottom fromt of spine, a few other 1/2" closed tears along top and bottom edges. Edgewear, soil and corner bumps, as to be expected on a 60-year-old book. Overall, extremely presentable, photos can be provided upon request. Doubleday, 1954. 001195
