Die Heliotherapie

Subtitled "Funfundvierzig [45]-j?hrige. Erfahrungen mit d. Sonnenkur insbes. bei d. chirurgischen Tuberkulose", this appears to be a medical text by Dr. Rollier, of the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, translated from French into German. Dates to 1945, this translation to 1951. Rollier advocated ultraviolet light and Alpine sunlight for treatment of tuberculosis. Jacket is in poor condition, extremely brittle, with large chip and several holes. Book is very good--green boards with gold lettering. Previous owner's name on front endpaper, a couple of notes in margins--overall very good, includes numerous B&W photos of x-rays and of patients undergoing therapy. Only U.S. copy. Cloth.
