Alphonse Mucha: Book Illustrations and Mural Paintings

An extremely uncommon printed copy of the author's doctoral dissertation on Mucha, from the University of North Carolina. Written in 1978, offered here by the University Microfilm service, which photographed each page of the original to produce, overall, a very readable copy, although the attempts to photograph and reproduce plates from the original is only partly successful, with many extremely overexposed. They may be usable to perhaps to identify the artwork being depicted? Near fine in blue cloth wraps, with previous owner's name to front endpaper. An odd find (save that the previous owner was a major collector of and sometime contributor to writings on the artist).
